The Parable Of The Planter

MatithYAHUW (The Disciples of YAHUW, sn-Matthew) 13:18-23

18 Hear the parable of the planter.
19 When anyone hears The Word of The Kingdom and does not comprehend it, the Evil One comes and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown on the road ways.
20 What was sown on the rocky places is he who hears The Word and receives it with joy.
21 Yet The Word has no root in Him so it endures only for a while. When trials or persecution arises because of The Word, immediately he stumbles.
22 What was sown among the thorns is he who hears The Word but the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke The Word and he becomes unproductive.
23 What was sown on the good ground is he who hears The Word and comprehends it  (believes and brings it into his life). These men bear fruit, some bringing forth one hundred fold return, others bring sixty fold and then others some thirty fold return.”

The Parable Of The Planter
The Word was sewn in our hearts from conception. Yet as we are exposed to this world and its ways we often forget that we innately know it. Some of us find our way home; while others deny the truth and others look to corrupt it.

Which are you? Do you hear the word and get angry or try to justify your wrong ways? Do you use the excuse that it is just too confusing and run the other way rather than seek to learn it and understand it?

Or do you joyfully read His instructions and take them to heart. Do you set out to please Him and not your flesh? Do you get He always has your best interest at hand?

Do you ‘test all things and hold firmly that which is good,’ or do you just assume things are good or okay because they seem to be harming no one?

Do you realize you can do nothing without Him? Or do you think you don’t have time to wait for His Ruach’s (Holy Spirit’s) guidance and have a ‘If it’s going to be, it’s up to me!’ attitude? Or are you one of the few that realizes each breath you take is a blessing, that you are not promised tomorrow, let alone the next breath?

Do you whine and complain about what He is calling you to do because it does not meet your requirements of what you think you should be doing?  Or do you humble yourself to trust in Him to take care of you and that He will reveal the vision to you in His time not yours?

When ‘times get tough’ do you blame Him or praise Him? Do you abandon the Word for the World’s ways? Or do you seek His guidance and look for ways that this hard time can be used for His good?

There are people that swear He does not speak to them, that Yahuwah (YHWH/HWHY) and His Ruach have abandoned them. When the reality is He calls out your name daily and the Ruach is always calling out to help you and comfort you.

Do you take His commandments seriously or do you pick and choose which ones you want to follow?

Do you understand that when He asks you to be a faithful provider for your family, that He is asking you to do it by His standards not the worlds?

Do you twist scripture to justify your behavior? When you realize you are doing something against His word, do you make excuses? Or do you get down on your hands and knees, cry out for guidance, cry out for forgiveness and truly repent (change your ways)?

Are you red hot, lukewarm or cold? Are you hungry for Him and His ways? Are you back and forth in your worldly ways? Or do you simply not care at all?

If you haven’t taken the time to answer these questions, spend the time to honestly reflect whether you are the seeds sown on rocky places, among thorns or on good ground… How firm or not firm your roots are and the soil of which you are planted will determine how your fruit grows.

Is your soil rich with the Word or the world?

It’s time to sow your seeds, it is time to take a stand. Our Saviour rather you be hot or cold vs. lukewarm, so you make no excuses for your stance.

I know for some it seems impossible to not be of this World when it is all around us and yes we will be persecuted along the way for choosing the narrow path… But don’t you know it is the one that leads to life? Do you want to pretend to live or really live?

The more I study His Word, the more I get to know Him, His Ruach and our awesome Saviour… The more I cannot help but shed the ways of the world and desire to keep pruning them out. You start seeing things through His eyes, feeling what He feels and desiring what He desires. That is when you start to become truly alive and realize how dead you where before!

Will there be times when you stumble? Probably so, as we are not perfect. Will they become less and less as you grow close to Him? Absolutely! Will you become better and noticing your fumbles and correcting them faster? Indeed, they will become less severe as His knowledge breathes life in to you!

I hope these Scriptures and this message bless you, once you KNOW the Truth, you cannot return void! If you have fears, doubts and uncertainty about His word, then please brothers & sisters study, seek and pray harder till you know without a doubt what you believe! As long as you continue to be uncertain or fear you are planting bad seeds in rocky soil and thorns which are gateways for Shatan to snare and deceive you.

‘Sometimes YaHuWaH answers our prayers in unexpected ways. Don’t dismiss your blessings because they did not come on your terms… Or you just might miss out on being blessed!’ ~ Jamie Pelaez
